It was a magical day of discovery for our Preschool Pathways students in the Primrose Patch! We discovered caterpillars while we were harvesting green beans for lunch. These caterpillars are most likely, the off-spring of the Black Swallowtail butterflies that we released early in the summer. It‘s these unplanned teachable moments that teachers love and encourages our children to continue to explore. Taking the time to slow down and study nature gives our children a better understanding and appreciation of the world around them.
